Just A Question....."Does Being A DBSK Fan Have An Age Limit?"
I just wanted to ask this question... because someone asked me why I'm a DBSK fan since I'm already 29 years, married, with 2 kids. This person said that I was just wasting my time and I wasn't really supposed to be doing what only teenagers do. WHAT'S WRONG? Does being a fan have an age limit? I think this is some sort of discrimination, don't you think. If this person wasn't my friend, I would have just blown out of proportion. What's wrong if I'm a DBSK fan? I'm not doing anybody any harm , am I? Even if I am obsessed with downloading and posting their videos, songs and pictures, what's wrong with that? I don't neglect any duties or responsibilities that I have.Even my husband indulges my hobby with buying me an IPOD , he even said that so I can put all my videos, songs and pictures in it. He knows that I'm a DBSK fan and he doesn't have any objection. Why is it there are so many people that just can't stop ridiculing other people just because they don't share the same interests that they have. Do you also think that I'm already too old to be a DBSK fan? And how do you think I should react to these kind of people. I sometimes feel ashamed, and think that maybe they are right. Am I really too old? Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

is it wrong to younger woman liking older man??
and younger man liking older woman??
if they say yes..then they really care about age issue..>_<
but that's a trend now to younger guy liking older men..
so don't worry bout their thought..

ahh..ignore my crap!!
anyway, your husband so supportive..^_^
keep supporting dbsk!!>_<
yeah sometimes things like this happen even me, some of my friends who don't share same interest ask me things like these which always make me pissed~ Everybody have their own personal interest.. we can't blame or judge about their likeness.. So if me, the thing I used to do when people doing this to me. I just talk to them nicely but in a very serious tone that this things are unpredictable.. People have their own uniqueness to like something or not..You're not really old to like someone.. and being understanding is the most important in life.. and to your friend, please act mature and give some possible reasons to judge on our likings or not.. Just being married and having kids doesn't mean we cannot have some fun in our life.. and we're here to support you!
ReplyDeleteThanks nabulique and greenstar317. Thanks for being such nice friends. People are really judgmental on other people, that's why I just stay away from people like that. Even if they are my friends I just try to act cool and simply try to distance myself from them. It's only been recently that I've been active here in multiply so I don't actually have anyone to talk to regarding DBSK stuffs. But now I'm glad that I have new acquaintances like all of you. I'm glad that I found other DBSK fans that don't criticize by age or by status. It's really great...to have new friends that have the same interest that I have. Thanks again. Hope to chat with you again.
ReplyDeleteThanks herojunsu, sidayung and thesweettreat. You're all so very nice.
ReplyDeleteDont worry Elaine, Cassiopeain support each other =D
ReplyDeleteThanks sidayung. Hope to be a a good friend to you too. I'm glad to be a Cassiopeian.
ReplyDeletewahh..don't worry about that elaine~~ like what sidayung say...cassiopeians will support each other!!>_<
ReplyDeleteThanks again greenstar.
ReplyDeleteno, of course not... age is too shallow to be a limit between tvxq fans XD~
ReplyDeleteYou're right ailend...age is not an issue. It's just that some people make it such a big issue and just makes a big fuss over it. Unluckily I've encountered some of them.
ReplyDeletehopefully i will not encounter people like that D:
ReplyDeleteCassiopeia Hwaiting!
ReplyDeleteWell, I just talked to the person I was pertaining to and he was so frustrating. He basically was very casual about saying that chatting on line with other DBSK fans was just a waste of time. And that I was certainly crazy for doing so. I wanted to shouted at him and say " Are you really my friend or what? ". He was totally rude. Well, I just wanted to get that out of my chest. I am really already up to my head with his making fun of my multiply site. I am already contemplating if whether I should stop communicating with him online permanently or just avoid him for the moment. What do you think?
ReplyDeletelet things cool off 1st i guess
ReplyDeletethen when you think the time is rite...
tell him how you feel
if he's really a friend, he'd probably understand after that
^^
Thanks for the advice. But with his personality, he is always thinking that everything he says is right. He is nice and all, but he's too invasive with one's personal space or a person's privacy. He's too picky with things and I think he has a " I am the world " complex. He thinks that he's so mature and all. Well, I'll try to cool off my temper first. Then I'll try to talk to him in a more serious tone. Maybe then he'll understand that I am not joking with him anymore. Thanks again sidayung.
ReplyDeleteno prob, glad to be of help
ReplyDelete^^
Well. I guess I was once in the same situation, but a bit different, with a different boyband. People laugh at me - in real life, in my everyday life - for obsessing over D2B. I'm not addicted to them, I think. I just stick with them faithfully. I'm VERY faithful, online or offline.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is, being someone's fan is not a bad thing. It just shows you're able to care for people you don't know, and emerge a new person from all the love you pour to them, the groups you idol.
It doesn't matter what age, does it?
