Christmas Has Passed.... How Was It?

Hello everyone! Christmas is already over here in the Philippines. I, for one, had a good time, if you can say cooking and wrapping gifts and arranging everything from socks to bags for my family as FUN. But for me it is something that gives me joy. I love my family so those small things do bring me happiness. How about you? How did you spend your christmas? Did you spend it with your friends or love ones. My christmas madness started exactly on Dec. 24. I woke up 3am to get everything prepared. I cleaned some parts of the house, arranged all the things that we were going to bring to my mother's house, where we were supposed to spend christmas. Then all the packing ended at 7am. At 8am we were already on the way to my mother's house. By 9am, I was already getting prepared to do some last minute shopping of ingredients for my ever favorite special occassion food which is the undeniably popular food "SPAGHETTI". My husband and kids just adore eating spaghetti. By 1pm, I was already chopping all the ingredients and getting prepared to cook. By 2:30pm, I was already started cooking. By 3:30, I was finished cooking. I then checked all the gifts that I brought for last minute checking. By 5pm, I was already singing my heart out infront of the videoke. By 6pm, time to start cooking again for dinner this time. 7:30pm, dinner time with everyone. 9pm, I started cooking the other foods for the "Noche Buena". By 11:30, arranging of the table. And finally, 12am Christmas day, eating and opening of gifts. By 2am,  we were all getting ready for bed. By 5am, I woke again to prepare breakfast. By 6:30, some of my family members were having some bites of breakfast here and there. By 7am, we were all getting ready to go to our other relatives'  and friends' homes. By 9am, we already having a nice chat with the best friend of my husband. We visited several friends and went back to my mother's house at passed 1pm. My children had also visited some of their godfathers and godmothers. By 2pm, I was already having a light snack and afterwards, I joined the group of people outside of our house who were singing infront of the videoke. The singing and eating lasted until 11pm which was the time that we were about to go back to our own house. By 12:30, my babies were already asleep. As for me and my husband, we were already snuggled tight and talking about everything that happened that day. By 2am, Dec. 26, my husband had already fallen asleep but I couldn't sleep so I turned on my IPod and started to watch DBSK videos....hhahahah. I think I turned off the Ipod at around passed 3am.
That's how my christmas went. It may sound boring to some of you, but hey I love my life. It is these small things that make me complete. How about you guys? How did you spend your christmas? Did you spend it with your family or friends? Well, I hope you all had a wonderful time. Christmas is already over and new year is fast approaching. Another year will be beginning soon, I just hope that this coming year, everyone will all have good experiences and memories to share.
