We Will Meet Again Someday (Fan Fiction) (Chapter 7)

CHAPTER 7

Several days later, the boys and Derline have all grown close with each other. They always joke and tease one another. Derline have also opened up to them. She wasn't shy with them anymore. She would play jokes and was already talking with them as if they have been friends for a very long time.

The boys except Micky have grown to love her. She was a very sweet and honest girl. She was also very caring. She would bring them sandwiches and cooked food everyday. The boys were very happy. They have never felt so well taken care of . She was always there to help them with almost everything. Somehow the boys are already afraid of the day that their real assistant would return.

“Do you think our manager would allow us to keep Derline?” Max asked.

“I don't know, but maybe we can ask him. I really don't want to see her go. She's been taking care of us so much. I think I have grown accustomed to it,” Xiah confessed.

“Yeah. I feel the same way,” Jaejoong said.

“That's too bad. She's gonna be gone in a few weeks. And that's that,” Micky commented.

Everyone looked at Micky with a strange look. They have been wondering what's wrong with him. He has been very mean to Derline ever since from the start. He would even raise his voice when he was speaking with her. The other DBSK members thought that he was really being mean but they couldn't do anything about it. They just let him alone just to avoid any confrontation.

Micky, on the other hand, was already fed up with his friends. He wanted Derline to leave but all of them wanted her to stay. He thought it would be easier if even one of them would agree with him.

As the other DBSK members were talking, Derline entered the room. She was carrying their costume for the interview and performance.

“Why did you have to take so long?” Micky asked Derline irritated.

Derline looked at Micky with a sad expression. “Sorry,” she said with a low voice.

“Hey! It's alright. We still have a lot of time to spare,” Xiah said with a smile just to comfort Derline.

“I'm sorry,” she said again.

“It's alright. Don't worry,” Jaejoong said.

After their performance, the boys decided to finally have a talk with Micky. He was becoming too unreasonable. He was already being very mean, and they just couldn't sit back and watch anymore.

“What's wrong Micky?” Jaejoong asked.

Micky looked at his friends. He wanted to tell them that he didn't know what was wrong either. He wasn't himself lately. He was always so kind with everyone especially with girls. But now, he himself didn't like the fact that he was being to mean to a girl. Somehow he really wanted to change his perception of Derline, but he couldn't.

“Derline has been very good to us. And you have just been plain mean, hyung. Don't you think it is totally unfair?” Max asked.

“What do you want me to do? Pretend and just get along with her, is that it?” Micky asked with irritation.

“Yes,” Max replied.

Everyone was already feeling the tension. As usual, U-Know stepped in and changed the subject just to avoid his friends from arguing.

They all went back to their hotel with silence. Everyone was very unhappy that they were having disagreements just because of Derline.

As soon as they got back to their hotel, Micky immediately went to his room and didn't even talk with the other DBSK members.

Xiah, Max, Jaejoong and U-Know were left talking in front of the tv.

“So what do you think we should do?” U-Know asked.

“I think we should give in to what Micky wants,” Xiah said.

“And that is to kick Derline out?” Max asked surprised.

“Well it would be best. At least the two of you can stop arguing and everything will be peaceful again,” Xiah answered.

“If you guys do that, I don't think I can ever forgive anyone of you. That is totally unfair,” Max said with a hurt look.

“Okay...Let's just try to think of another way to settle the problem with Micky without Derline losing her job,” Jaejoong said.

“But isn't Derline's contract going to end in a month? What do you guys plan to do then?” U-Know asked the others.

“Well, we can always ask our manager to retain her. We could always add another assistant,” Max said happily.

U-Know, Xiah and Jaejoong al looked at each other. They all feel that there is something going on but they wouldn't dare say anything.

They all watched a movie after talking. And as soon as the movie ended, Max immediately went to bed. Jaejoong, Xiah and U-Know were left talking.

“Do you notice Max lately?” Jaejoong asked.

“Yes. Do you think he has a crush on Derline?” Xiah asked.

“Come on, guys. Have you seen the girls that Max even looks at. He's not the type to easily like a girl. He's way too picky. And sad to say, but Derline isn't his type,” U-Know commented.

“Yeah, he's right. Derline may be nice and all but she certainly isn't the type that Max would even dare to date,” Xiah said with a laugh.

“I know, she's not pretty. But she is nice and a very good cook. I just love her cooking as well. Maybe that is what Max liked about her and that is why he is being so nice to her,” Jaejoong said.

“Well, we can't really judge Derline. And yes... knowing Max he is always so passionate with everything that concerns food ,” Xiah said jokingly.

“Yes, you're totally right,” U-Know and Jaejoong said in unison.

And the day ended with them all laughing.
